Exploring models through mixed materials
The different materials used when constructing models can create clean or messy looks. Materials including cardboard, paper, baking paper and wooden sticks can all be used differently to create different looks within models. For example the use of white cardboard in conjunction with baking paper and wooden sticks creates a modern, clean look whereas Just-Right cardboard packaging creates a disjointed, messy look that is unappealing and detracts from the model its self. Therefore, various different materials used within the construction process can drastically change the outcome, creating a more positive or negative perception towards the model.
