Fusion 360 3D shapes - Week7

This week I created a Fusion360 model of my initials (G, W, C). I struggled initially with forming the letters in a way that allowed them to 'shell'. However after consulting my tutor we were able to identify a formation that allowed this process to work.

This model is created with a smooth bamboo finish for the left side both inside and outside and a see-through dark tinted glass for the right side, allowing light to pass through. I used this combination of materials to create an idea that the model could be used as an artistic piece in a children's play ground, allowing them to crawl through and seeing what's going on outside.

This model is created with a dark black exterior and a gold tinted interior colour. I used this colour creation as a metaphor for its what's on the inside that counts and no matter how dark things can get, there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

This model is created with a red textured interior and black granite and white plastic exterior. It represents the colours found in the kitchen at my house, and although they look quite good at a large kitchen scale, in a model of this size they are quite repulsive and are opposites of each-other.
